This edited volume provides one of the first book-length treatments of the current science, policy, and management issues surrounding species reintroduction. Well written and comprehensive, it brings together relevant, well-known authors and covers diverse topics from project planning to genetics, disease, monitoring, and management.

A ‘go-to’ reference for species reintroductions. The volume synthesizes the current state and direction of reintroduction biology and presents some fresh perspectives on how reintroduction biology interacts with and influences other subdisciplines of conservation and restoration biology
