Description

This fine reference volume, Ophthalmology for the Veterinary Practitioner, 2nd, Revised and Expanded Edition, has been completely revised and extended to provide veterinarians in practice with a complete guide to the diagnosis and treatment of all important eye diseases. It includes coverage of the most common ophthalmic disorders of dogs and cats, as well as horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits and birds. It provides practical tips for diagnosis without specialised experience or specific instruments. As a guide to differential diagnosis rare signs are described to complete the range of possible ophthalmic disorders. A special chapter dedicated to ophthalmic emergencies has also been included. This ebook encourages and helps equip a practitioner to attempt treatment of veterinary ophthalmic cases, yet clearly shows the therapeutic limits faced by the non-specialist. It describes measures that can be taken before referral as well as potential professional errors. 268 p.

In a world of both computer screens and text, a comfortable textbook that feels nice and looks good demonstrates that this method of spreading information remains a viable option.

I highly recommand this book which gives in a minimum of words, the maximum of updated information to the practitioner and the student. No topic is forgotten. One of the main qualities of this manual is to make things very clear for everybody.
