An excellent well written comprehensive textbook on marine mammals evolutionary biology. Highly recommended for professionals and non professional wishing to deepen their knowledge on the biology of marine mammals.

This book includes a glossary with explanations for some important words. It summarizes lots of articles and advances from recent and earlier years. Often has neutral view by describing several approaches that has been discussed recently.
