The editors should be congratulated in bringing together the academic aspects and practical applications of male reproduction in this publication. This is no mean achievement. With the rapid expansion of knowledge in animal andrology, there was a definite need for such a book. The volume is a comprehensive guide, easy to follow and understand which will serve as a valuable tool for scientists in the various fields of reproductive biology, as well as for teaching and training of students in the field of animal reproduction. It is likely to become an extensively cited source of information.
