I am a animal behavior consultant and I have used a product like this for years. It is an essential tool for doing safe assessments and counter conditioning training if you are a problem behavior trainer or work at a shelter. I lent mine to a client who is doing some counter-conditioning training with her cat who has a touching problem. The client loved the fake hand so much I am getting now ordering her one. My client is elderly with thin skin and can’t afford a mistake during training so this tool gives her confidence and calming while working with her half feral cat (who is making progress!!).
