Veronica Lac’s writing style is both professional and profoundly personal. Her book explores the theories that she has used in developing her equine facilitated psychotherapy and learning programs through the HERD Institute and her passion and dedication to the process is clear through. This book has been a great asset to me in going through her training program and has value for clinicians, professionals, and individuals seeking to learn more about existential-humanistic theories in relation to working with horses, and the benefits and power that having such partners can provide in our work and in our lives.
