Description
This new ebook in the Small Animal Surgery series Errors and Complications in Surgery: Surgery Atlas, A Step-by-Step Guide, has been designed as a review of the surgical errors and complications that may occur in daily practice, so that veterinary surgeons can learn to prevent them or resolve their consequences. The present edition of the ebook gives veterinary surgeons a chance to find the reason behind some of their failures and, at the same time, the appropriate procedures to correct them. The ebook includes many high quality illustrations presenting some of the techniques described as an aid to understanding them. It is intended for surgeons starting their professional careers and residents, as well as more experienced veterinary surgeons, since it must not be forgotten that error can occur at any time, no matter how much experience a clinician may have. The authors have covered in detail certain shortcomings in general surgery principles and avariety of errors and complications arising from operations in the thorax, abdomen, bones, and even in oncological procedures. All of this is presented in a clear and descriptive manner, along with high definition photographs and clear and precise drawings. 578 p.
