They take into account the conditions of breeding and use of the animal. The calculation of the rations to obtain the targeted performances is explained and illustrated by examples. Tables of the composition and nutritional value of food, including 170 feeds and 80 concentrated feeds or vegetable by-products, complete this work. Designed for teachers, development managers and technicians, practicing veterinarians and students, this work includes a summary of horse nutrition, dietary recommendations established for each category (mare, stallion, young horse, working horse, saddle horse, draft horse, pony and donkey) in their breeding and use conditions, as well as tables of the composition and nutritional value of foods. 626 p.
