This book is a must for any high school student in a 4-H livestock club or those wanting to become veterinarians with a concentration in food animals. The information was well-presented and concise with TONS of great photographs.

I’m writing this from the Northeastern US. I must say that this book is EXCELLENT. This book is British, and it is clear that our neighbors over the pond have certainly learned an incredible amount about sheep over the …. MANY … years that they have been raising them. The photographs are so useful, and the text is not “wordy” – it’s direct and helpful. To date, this is the very best book in our sheep farm’s library.
